The hockey program at Edinburgh University has played a major role in my ability to play for the Scotland Senior men’s team whilst working towards my degree. The facilities and coaching staff in the pleasance gym, and down at Peffermill playing fields promote a high performance environment which allows individuals and teams to excel in the Scottish Premiership and BUCS leagues

The Edinburgh University Men's Hockey Performance Programme has been instrumental in supporting my hockey goals while I pursue my degree. Through access to world class strength and conditioning facilities and sports psychology resources, the program has enabled me to balance both academics and hockey
