Edinburgh Winter Run 2024 Setting off from Holyrood Park, participants will take in the stunning scenery of East Lothian before looking across south Edinburgh to Peffermill and beyond to the Pentland Hills, before rounding back on the city and a downhill finish. The course is a demanding but enjoyable 5km loop of one of Edinburgh’s most iconic landmarks – Arthurs Seat. Image The 2023 event saw over 500 entries from the UoE community, running alongside members of the public on a crisp winters day. This event brings together staff and students to participate alongside each other, placing sport at the heart of community-building.
