As announced on 13 June 2022, the Scottish Women’s Basketball franchise license currently held by Caledonia Pride, has been awarded to Lady Rocks for season 22/23 and beyond. As one of the founding partners of Caledonia Pride we are naturally disappointed with this outcome. We are proud of everything that has been achieved over the past 7 years by the coaches, players, officials and volunteers associated with Caledonia Pride. From providing a pathway for players to represent both Scotland and GB, to reaching the WBLL playoff semi-finals for the first time this season. Our focus is now the wellbeing of the University of Edinburgh students and staff, and others, impacted by this decision. We will be working with them to ensure they receive the support they need.
