Being selected to represent Great Britain & Northern Ireland at the FISU World University Orienteering Championships is a tremendous honour, and to have eight athletes from the University of Edinburgh chosen speaks volumes about the calibre of talent and dedication within our sports programmes. With eight athletes comprising a significant portion of the GB&NI team, Edinburgh proudly upholds its reputation as the leading UK university in orienteering. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all eight athletes and our Sport Union's Polly Pearse, who serves as a team manager, as they embark on this remarkable journey. Their achievements exemplify the spirit of excellence and perseverance that defines our university community, and we stand united in wishing them every success at the championships.
