As one of the only mix gender team sports in the world, it allows male and female identifying members to compete on the same team. The rules and nature of the sport also facilitate teamwork in which no team member can be excluded. As the New Yorker highlighted last year, it is a game where ‘‘men and women play as equals’’. Korfball at Edinburgh University The club has over 55 members, led by 12 committee members of who 10 are women. The club strives to ensure inclusion across all its activity.
