UoE Sport’s summer facility works are nearing completion, with our Hockey 2 pitch upgraded with the latest sustainable surface from Polytan - Poligras Paris GT Zero dry hockey pitch. This Olympic hockey pitch is ramping up the innovation in synthetic turf and in particular hockey turf for non-irrigated use. As a global sport, hockey is not as sustainable as other sports due to large volumes of clean water required to irrigate the playing surface.
