The University’s Sport & Exercise team was nominated for the Active Wellbeing Programme award for their impressive accomplishments over the last 12 months. The programme which launched in 2020 is designed to engage students and staff who are not involved in the gym or sport activities. By providing active wellbeing initiatives such as Just Play sessions that break down barriers and encourage members of the university community to move more the programme has been able to help others nurture their wellbeing.
